This week calls for comfort food. Enter kimchi mac & cheese with a Pan di Zucchero chicory salad dressed in preserved lemon, evo, @diasporaco aranya peppercorns and our fermented garlicky peas. 

This winter we are launching a ‘Food as Medicine’ menu. There is so much healing in this dish! First... pleasure medicine! Food gives us vital energy and nutrients but we cook it, season it and share it with others for pleasure too. It is rich and creamy (gf too but you wouldn’t know it) with satisfying bites of tart, umami @hexferments miso kimchi. The slight bitterness of the chicories and acidity of preserved lemon provide a refreshing contrast with each bite. Fermented peas and cabbage build your gut microbiome, essential to all aspects of health. 

On the supper menu starting tonight, AND online packaged in portions for two! Look for more new dishes (and the return of winter favorites) over the next couple of weeks as we settle in to winter rhythms. And thanks as always for your support. We are still here because of all of you!
